Matthew Ashworth
Managing Director
Matthew was a founding member of Goldstar Transport
after a succesful career with Russell Davies and then Securicor where he was operations director.
He has over 30 years experience in the industry covering all aspects of road transport and is a strong believer in "Simple is best".
Well known in the transport community for his honest and forthright approach.

Simon Day
Simon has 24 years experience in the road transport industry.
Along with Matthew he was a founder member of Goldstar Transport in 1998.
Simon is well known in the Transport industry for his straight talking, no nonsense approach to container haulage.

Derek Cawston Group Services Director
Derek has 23 years experience in Transport.He joined Goldstar in 1993 as a Traffic Operator.He was appointed to the board in 2010.
He has a special interest in utilising IT to make Goldstar more efficient. He holds a CPC and is a registered DGSA.
When not at work Derek will be found in the great outdoors either with his bike or walking with his dog

Simon Underwood
Simon joined Goldstar in 1998 originally based in the north west, he transferred to Felixstowe in 2006.
Simon has covered numerous roles in Goldstar including Central Planning, customer services and Operations Director.
He was appointed to the board in 2010.
Outside of work, Simon is a lifelong Everton supporter and even though he has moved down south, he still follows the toffees avidly.

Tony Harman Tony has worked in the Transport Industry for 26 years
having spent the last 14 years at Goldstar transport.
Tony has seen Goldstar become a major force in the container transport industry.
Tony was appointed to the board in 2010 as Commercial Director
