Goldstar Transport was formed in 1998 by a management team that had a proven track record in large volume, multi-customer container transport.From that basis we have built a business able to adapt quickly and with a great deal of imagination to the ever changing demands of our customer base and the difficulties of an industry that is becoming the most legislated in Europe.
We have succeeded in making Goldstar easy for our customers to use by placing staff in house at customer's offices or giving each customer a central point of contact for all it's work whether, import or export and regardless of the port entry to the UK.
Our market leading IT systems enable electronic data transfer, online real-time tracking of jobs and instant online POD facility, automated delivery notification.
Goldstar has an annual turnover in excess of £70 million and regularly handles over 900 movements per day for a varied customer base from major shipping lines to smaller niche market operators.
With the aquisition of the Woolpit site in 2010, we are now able to offer an off dock loaded storage solution.
